2nd Influence

2ND Influence

As a female pilot in the 20’s and 30’s, Amelia Earhart made a huge influence on all types of people, but most importantly, women. This was another positive step towards Woman’s rights and the way women were viewed. Earhart and her husband, also her manager, were asked to attend many women’s rights lectures. Earhart soon became a major symbol for the liberation of women. Women wanted to be independent and have the equal opportunities that the men had and Earhart brought this possibility.

Earhart was a trendsetter. She was not afraid to do anything first. Amelia authorized many products and created her own line of travel clothing and luggage. Her luggage can still be found in stores today. Earhart was a strong and courageous woman of her times and even of our times.
